The Spiritual Studio was born from a belief that a creative way of being can heal hearts.
I felt it and feel it in my practice as an artist when I'm immersed in my work, but it is really when I am far away from my physical studio that the strong healing effect of creativity reveals itself profoundly. I started the Spiritual Studio as a space which is both concrete and abstract, where a community can explore together the power of creation.
In essence The Spiritual Studio is a non-physical place that resonates in everyday life, not necessarily in the context of art making. It enhances the special gift of inspiration, and a wider gaze about being and existing with creativity which moves with us as a living presence.
To me it feels like a caress of poetry brushing my soul — like a cat's tail brushing on a leg.
I feel deeply that in the process itself of a creative act — whether it's the written word, a visual way of expression, the world of movement, or any other artistic channel — there is something subtle and elusive, yet grounded. A kind of divinity. That is the thing that I invite you to connect with through the Spiritual Studio.

My practice of working with the flow of ink on various surfaces is driven by inner sources — experience, memory, and the subconscious. I have exhibited internationally in solo and group exhibitions and received awards and grants including the City of Melbourne Art Grant for my project regardsfromyourfuture.com.
My deep connection and practical experience with intuitive creative work, as well as my belief that creativity is a living presence within each person, waiting to be touched, led me to develop The Spiritual Studio — a home for a spiritual exploration of creativity as a way of life.
